Chumchon Ban Prawnoom school is a primary school located in Maechaem, Chiangmai There are about 253 students from Kindergarten to primary level (3-12 years old). School need international volunteers to create the activities for students ะo improve English for communication and create intercultural environment in the school.

Work: Volunteers will work as English teachers assistant, preparing lessons or English Camp with the teacher at the school. Creative teaching English – Non-formal education tools can be used for creative teaching; volunteer is not required teaching certificate but required to be creative. Aims of creative teaching is giving the chance for students in the school and local community to have an opportunity to communicate with different languages and learn different cultures. Volunteer would use Non-formal education tools to make activities based on Intercultural and language such as the games, songs, storytelling, and dancing. Also, it should focus on communication; listening and speaking. In addition volunteer can create theirs national club, for example, German club, Korean club to exchange with students in Language and culture. The activity after school – because the students stay at the school dormitory, they always have extra activities after school. The volunteer can join them to make a more closed relationship. It will be a good opportunity to exchange the different cultures and activities. Students are learning occupation skill activities such as organic farming, handicraft, organic products. In addition volunteer can create theirs national club, for example, German club, Korean club to exchange with students in Language and culture. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM - 4:30 PM Includes a one-hour lunch break Weekend is freetime

Accomodation and food: You will be staying with a local host family in a shared room with another volunteer (2 people per room) and using a shared restroom. Lunch will be provided at the school canteen, while volunteers are responsible for preparing breakfast, supper, and some meals with the host family. The school offers Wi-Fi, and it s recommended to purchase a Thai SIM card or e-SIM for mobile data.
