CONCF-33404-TEEN FRANCIA MARSEILLAN... RENO,ENVI 05/08/2026 19/08/2026

A LIFTING FOR THE PUBLIC GARDEN | CONCF-33404-TEEN | 2026-08-05 - 2026-08-19 | RENO,ENVI | Age: 15 - 17

This is our first partnership with the town of Marseillan. We are working closely with several municipal departments that focus on youth, culture, and the environment. This project helps enhance the town’s green spaces.

Work: Do you love the sea and nature? Come help improve the municipal park in the seaside resort of Marseillan and discover the wonders of the Mediterranean coast! You’ll help restore a stone wall in the heart of a public garden—a practical and rewarding project. Through this experience, you’ll develop stone masonry skills while learning traditional and sustainable techniques. Your work will be to fill the spaces between the stones of the wall, with the future goal of painting a mural on it, while preserving its rich biodiversity (small lizards and pollinating insects). This work is essential to improve the town’s park and allow the municipality to install artwork and recreational facilities there, much to the delight of visitors, walkers, and tourists from all walks of life! A rewarding experience that combines landscaping, environmental stewardship, and intercultural encounters!

Accomodation and food: You will be staying in individual tents provided by the Concordia association, on a secure municipal site with access to restroom facilities. You must bring your own camping mattress and sleeping bag. A large tent will be set up as a living space with a dining area. Community life will be at the heart of the experience: you will share daily tasks and prepare meals together. A budget will be allocated to the activity team, and you will help with grocery shopping and meal preparation, prioritizing healthy and local products.

Location and Leisure: Marseillan is a charming town in the south of France, located between the Thau Lagoon and the Mediterranean Sea, renowned for its harbor, its sun-drenched landscapes, and its Mediterranean climate. You can stroll along the harbor, enjoy the beaches, and sample local specialties. There are some very pretty towns nearby. You can explore Sete, nicknamed the “Venice of Languedoc,” with its canals, lively atmosphere, and panoramic views of the lagoons and the sea from Mont Saint-Clair. You can also visit Agde, with its traditional architecture and the distinctive Canal du Midi. You can also enjoy the Etang de Thau for walks or bike rides, as well as direct access to the sea for water sports. In the heart of a preserved natural setting, you can enjoy outdoor activities and discover cultural and festive events during the lively summer season.
