CONCF-46314-TEEN FRANCIA CLERMONTFERRAND... CONS,SOCI 31/07/2026 14/08/2026

GROW TIES IN THE GARDEN | CONCF-46314-TEEN | 2026-07-31 - 2026-08-14 | CONS,SOCI | Age: 15 - 17

The project is carried out in partnership with Ophis, La Visitation s social landlord, which is providing the garden and helping us develop the project with the future users of the site. The City of Clermont-Ferrand, Clermont Auvergne Métropole, and the Puy de Dome Prefecture are also supporting the La Visitation project, a truly socially-minded initiative!

Work: Following the success of the first edition, our partners wish to repeat the international work camp experience at La Visitation community garden. Last year, the work camp focused on landscaping the garden for the nursery school children; this year, come and continue the work by landscaping a plot for the residents. On the agenda: building wooden furniture and outdoor facilities so that everyone can garden together and make this space magical and accessible to all. We will offer opportunities to socialize with residents, young and old (shared meals, workshops, discussions, etc.). Calling all DIY enthusiasts and gardeners: bring your energy and good humor to create a pleasant space and learn how to use hand and power tools alongside a technical instructor.

Accomodation and food: You will be accompanied by two camp leaders throughout your stay. You will be staying in accommodation located in the heart of Clermont-Ferrand. You will sleep in shared rooms on air mattresses (provided by Concordia). The accommodation is unfurnished (no storage cupboards) but communal living facilities will be provided by Concordia. The accommodation will be close enough to the work site that you can walk there. You will share various communal tasks and prepare meals together. A budget will be allocated to the counselors and you will help with the shopping, focusing on healthy, local products. Laundry can be done by hand or in the washing machines at the campsite (paid service).

Location: CLERMONTFERRAND

Location and Leisure: Clermont-Ferrand is the lively capital of the Auvergne region. It is located in an exceptional volcanic area, at the foot of the Puy de Dôme volcano and the Chaîne des Puys which is listed as UNESCO World Heritage. During your stay, you will be able to enjoy the town s summery energy (shows, concerts, fireworks, etc.) and the countryside which is located right on its doorstep: hiking over the volcanoes, swimming in the lakes, etc.
