Never-ending International work camps Exchange (NICE), Japan ALLIANCE and NVDA

Work: 9679;Provide support in the creative and artistic preparation of school closing ceremony events by decorating and beautifying venues9679;Introduce the participants country about education, culture, arts, etc. centered on interaction with studentsContribute to the creation of a more lively, welcoming and ecologically friendly new campus.

Accomodation and food: Food will be prepared by everyone. The participants are encouraged to assist in the preparation of the meals. Filipino food would be mostly served in all mealsThe participants will be accommodated at the Catmon Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CCMC) near the project site. It is built of concrete materials and with basic facilities. Personal sleeping bags/blankets and pillows are needed.

Location and Leisure: Going around the local villageNature lovers have many options to do nature walks, hiking, swimming in cold/hot natural springs, rivers and the sea or visit local heritage sites like churches, etc.

Requirements: A.Meet-up at GIED office 10:00 AM by 11:00 AM travel from Cebu City to Catmon, Cebu. B.For participants who will arrive later may proceed to Cebu City North Bus Terminal and take the public bus from Cebu City to Catmon, Cebu and alight at the Saint William SchoolFor international participants arriving earlier and or will stay longer before and or after the camp may stay at the YMCA hostel located across from the GIED office. Rate per person is from Php 450-900 depending on the type of accommodation. Reach out to the GIED Workcamp Coordinator via whatsapp to check availability or request for reservation of the room/s at least one week before the official start of the Workcamp.
