Area Vocational Rehabilitation Center (AVRC) II is a non-residential facility established as vocational rehabilitation centers to serve persons with disabilities (PWDs). It caters to those who have impairments in their vision, hearing, speech, mobility and those with other forms of physical, mental and social impairment, aged 18-59 years old, willing to acquire vocational skills and get employed, coming from three Philippine Visayas regions (Regions 6, 7 and 8).

Work: Assist the trainer and staff of the Vocational Training Courses on commercial arts and crafts, massage therapy, dress and apparel technology, commercial cooking, consumer electronics, housekeeping, furniture and cabinet making, computer technology, basic CosmetologyAssist on health related training program and servicesAssist in assessing the clients capabilities, interest and skillsAssist website and social media development of AVRC

Accomodation and food: Living with host family or host project (expect to have a shared room with family member or volunteer)

irections to GIED Office Causing Feria Building, Osmena Blvd, Cebu City By Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service (Approx. 30-45 minutes): Upon exiting the airport, proceed to the taxi or ride-hailing service area. Inform the driver to take you to Causing Feria Building, Osmena Blvd, Cebu City. Depending on traffic, the driver will usually take either the Marcelo Fernan Bridge or the Mactan-Mandaue Bridge. The GIED office is located near Robinsons Fuente, beside the Shell Gas Station, and across the YMCA. By Public Transport (Approx. 1-1.5 hours): From the airport, board a jeepney or MyBus heading to SM City Cebu. At SM City Cebu, transfer to a jeepney going to Fuente Osmena or Osmena Blvd. Ask the driver to drop you near the Causing Feria Building, located beside the Shell Gas Station and across the YMCA, close to Robinsons Fuente.
