Chantiers Jeunesse Maroc organises a work camp in Fès in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth

Work: The work will take place in the local social centre, which takes in children in vulnerable situations. The aim of the work is to prepare and decorate the centre s premises for the benefit of the inmates through gardening and painting. The duration of the work will be 5 hours per day

Accomodation and food: Volunteers will be accommodated in the local Fès social centre. The centre is equipped with sanitary facilities, a kitchen and a common room. You ll share communal tasks and together, you ll take part in shopping and preparing meals, and giving. WIFI available. We will send you more details about the accommodation address.

Location and Leisure: Volunteers will need to set up their own programme of activities. Here are some hints to help you organise your programme: Volunteers will visit the 1400 year old Médina of Fès: Mérinides School, Dar El baroud, MoulayIdriss, El Quaraouiyine mosque, "Dar edbagh". Volunteers could also take part in the "son et lumières" entertainment and the surrounding tourist activities. We also propose a swimming pool. You will also need to bring working clothes, a sleeping bag and anything that could contribute to the good progress of the work camp (games sets, musical instruments, cooking recipes, etc...).
