Karanganyar is a regency at the foot of Mount Lawu, Central Java province. Most of the land in the Karanganyar Regency is agricultural land with good potential for developing agro-industrial plants to encourage the development of integrated farming to support the government s efforts to create food barns. Karanganyar has a calm, relaxed atmosphere and has many customs and traditions that are pretty interesting and entertaining.In 2022, Dejavato established a new project, Your Engagement in Sustainable Agriculture, in our new location, in collaboration with OISCA. OISCA is an organization engaged in agriculture to improve human resources and feature environmentally friendly insights.

Work: Volunteer will help to protect nature i get direct experience in social, agriculture, conservation, fruit-vegetable farming, and forestry. Amid a quiet and natural environment, help and provide input regarding the formation of a tourist village. Vegetable and fruit cultivation, composting, garden maintenance, and nursery management are some quite interesting duties. Interact and help local farmers and local agricultural Vocational High School students, share knowledge, and apply skills and experiences in sustainable farming activities. Interact with students and the community by conducting non-formal activities such as playing games and fun competitions.Volunteers share their skills, competencies, and abilities with students and the community.

Accomodation and food: The volunteers will be accommodated in a dormitory (basic conditions, sleeping bag and mat needed), where they will also receive food. Prefer no vegan (strict vegetarian)

Location and Leisure: OISCA Center, Doplang village, Karangpandan, Karanganyar, Central Java Province. Visit the nearby local attraction sites in Karanganyar and Solo city.

Train/Bus station: Adisumarmo International Airport (SOC) Surakarta.

Requirements: The volunteers should accept all the rules and condition of the project. Volunteer is recommended NOT to buy flight ticket at least 2 months before the project start, to avoid the cancellation of the project due to lack of participant.
