Work: Volunteers will help to co-create the workshops in English for local children and teenagers. Activating kids and teenagers, providing a cross-cultural learning experience for them as well as English language environment. It will be done through games, workshops, sports activities, excursions, discussions, etc. The age of kids is 10-16 y/o. There will be a local monitor who is responsible to propose and organize activities. The aim is that volunteers communicate with children in English, to encourage them to overcome the fear of speaking in a foreign language through non-formal educational methods and setting. In the first two days of the workcamp participants will spend time together to know the program and prepared and propose some owns workshops in relation to their capacity, interest or ability. We want that the volunteers can be involved and take part in the all project. If you like dancing, you can propose to teach a dance; if you practice handball, organize a competition, etc.

Accomodation and food: Accommodation will be in the local hostal of Pallilde. The hostal is belong to the municipality and it has 3 rooms with several bunk beds in each. There are bathrooms, showers and a kitchen in which the volunteers can cook and prepare the meals in teams. Please bring sheets or sleeping bag.

Location: PrioroLeon

Location and Leisure: Pallide is a very small town that belongs to Leon city in Castilla y Leon. Eventhough the town is very small, the area has so many small towns that all of them are in the walking distance. Volunteers can visit other towns and the area during the free time.

Airport: OVD

Meeting Point: León Train Station (Estación de León-ADIF) at 17:00 The closest airport is Oviedo (OVD) Airport. Volunteers have to take a train from Oviedo to León. OVD airport is not well connected. There is also options to arrive to Madrid Barajas Airport and take a train or bus to León or arrive to Bilbao airport and again take a bus to Léon.
