The host organization is an environmental one: NaturFreunde of Marburg. It is a work camp including German language training. In general i also during excursions i there will be focus on language and culture/history of Germany/Europe. Lectures will take two hours each day / 18 hours in total (excluding Saturday and Sunday). Therefore, participants will be split into two groups i in accordance with their knowledge of German language. The training contents: Conversation training, Intercultural Diversities, History of Germany/Europe and Indo-European languages ( word-nests ), Grammar. More details: www.hinz-kunz-sprache.de
Work: Participants will be doing various types of manual work in the area around the house of NaturFreunde and some environmental activities as well as some small renovation inside. The work will take 3-4 hours daily, excluding Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The particular activities will also depend on the weather.
Accomodation and food: Participants will live in a house with shared rooms, kitchen, bathroom, showers. Cooking, cleaning, shopping etc. will be done by the group itself. Like in each work camp, accommodation, food and transportation during excursions are free as well as materials/copies needed for the lectures.

Location and Leisure: Marburg is a historical and picturesque old university town, 100 km north of Frankfurt/Main. It has 82.000 inhabitants, including 25.000 students. The camp is located approx. 2 km away from the city centre.

Requirements: As the language training is not for absolute beginners, participants are supposed to have some knowledge of German, at least on a level that ensures daily communication (A2). Participants should also be willing to communicate with each other during the whole project in German language only. This part of the concept is important in order to allow a big step in acquiring the language.There is an extra-fee of 160,00 EUR to be paid upon arrival (or to be transferred in advance). A certificate for participating in the language-course will be given at the end of the camp.
