Work

The town of Ostbevern is located in the middle of the Münster region. The Children and Youth Association are looking forward to receiving your help with summer holiday activities for around 150 children aged between 8 and 12. Together with the supervisors on-site, you will be organising sports, games and craft activities with the children. After a communal introduction during the first few days, you will be working directly with the children for 2 weeks, doing different kinds of activities. Please bring some ideas for games, sports and crafts with you. We will be very happy to make use of your ideas and skills which you can try out with the children. You will be working with the children for 8 hours a day, with a communal lunch break.

Accomodation and food

You will be staying in rooms provided by the association. The group will prepare and cook meals together.

Location and leisure

There are numerous free time activities in Ostbevern: a skate park, a BMX park, a swimming pool, a pool table in the youth centre, table football and many other games. You could also visit the beautiful towns of Münster and Osnabrück, or even take a day trip to the Netherlands.

Requirements

Pedagogical skills, as well as an interest and desire to work with children are all absolute requirements for this camp. Creative, artistic and technical skills, as well as a sporty disposition, would also be useful.
