Participate in the touristic promotion of the town of Meyrargues, picturesque Provencal village with its castle listed as historical heritage. The town is located north of Aix en Provence, part of the great site of Sainte Victoire painted by Cezanne. You will discover cities and landscapes of Provence with intoxicating scents, rocked by the song of the cicadas ... The project involves installing a pathway between the village and the castle to facilitate the access for residents and tourists who come to visit the town.

Work: Several interventions are planned during the two worksite sessions: - Creation of stone steps - Repairing a stone wall - Earthworks for leveling the path - Creating fascines

Accomodation and food: You will be housed in tents on the sports complex of Meyrargues. Bring your floor mat or inflatable mattress and your sleeping bag. You will share the different collective tasks and prepare the meals together. The budget will be managed by your camp leaders and you will participate in the shopping and the preparation of the meals, using mostly seasonal and local products.

Location: Meyrargues

Location and Leisure: Meyrargues is a small and very dynamic Provencal village of 3750 inhabitants, offering a wide range of cultural, heritage and environmental discoveries. You will take part in the festivities of the village, hike in the massif of Sainte Victoire, swim in the lake of Peyrolles and you will be able to visit cities like Aix en Provence or Marseille.
