The collaboration of IBO Italy with the hosting community of Salvatonica has a long and intense history of workcamps that have alternated since the years 90 . Volunteers of various backgrounds and ages have lived the different projects proposed over the years adding a piece of wall but especially of community life in the territory.In 2019 the project forsees the creation of small apartments for disadvantaged people in an area adjacent to the small village of Burana where there was a kennel now disused and abandoned. Volunteers will be involved in cleaning the area managed by the Community.

Work: General work for cleaning the area of the former kennel: renovation of the roof, paving, cleansing walls and insulation, cleaning of the ground, levelling of the soil, displacement and cleaning of bricks.

Accomodation and food: The accommodation, breakfast and dinner will be at the Canonica of Settepolesini (FE). Volunteers will self-manage for the preparation of meals. Lunch will be consumed at the hosting community of Salvatonica. The two structures are about 2 km from each other. Salvatonica is located at a distance of about 15 km from Ferrara. Transport is guaranteed by minibus. There will be beds and mattresses. You need to bring your own sheets or sleeping bag.
