The Project

Exchange your culture and help to get life skills learn and improve the life of indigenous children and youngsters The mission of this project is to work against the climate change and encourage local youngsters participation in in environmental care activities, applying techniques for the development of organic compost and vermicomposting as well as techniques for the separation of solid wastes and to participate in the reforestation of degraded areas, contributing to the mitigation of the effects caused by climate change.

Activities

As international volunteer you will be an agent in charge of providing workshops on environmental education, and help to carry out practices on Eco technology learn from local experts and also share cases of successes from your country about environmental education, urban solid waste management, alternative energies and Eco techniques. 


Volunteers also will encourage cultural exchange with students, through English speaking clubs.
If you want to share your knowledge about environmental practices, have fun and make many new friends then this project is ideal for you.

By participating in this project, you will acquire the global skills of Adaptability, Global Awareness, Strategic Thinking and Collaborative Planning, after the participation in the project volunteers will receive an official letter certifying these skills.

 

Accommodation

Lodging Type: Private House

Volunteers will be hosted in a private house with all facilities, kitchen, dining room, sleeping rooms, place to wash clothes and hot water, there are no beds so please bring an air mat and sleeping bag.

Weather: Subhumid temperate with summer rains. Average temperature 22 ° C Height above sea level 1000 to 2400, Zacapoaxtla 1850 m.s.n.m.

Leisure Activities

The camp is very close to wonderful places, you can visit archaeological sites such as Cuetzalan and Cantona as well as enjoy cultural diversity in museums and in magical villages and then ecotourism in marvelous caves  and waterfalls, there will also be time to visit Puebla City, the capital of the state of Puebla and many more places.
