Los tipos son las abreviaturas en inglés de las actividades en cada proyecto:
ARCH = Archaeology
ARTS = Arts related
AG/AGRI = Agriculture work
CULT = Cultural work.
CONS = Construction
DISA = Assisting disabled people
ENVI = environmental work
EDU = Education
ELD = Work with Elderly
FARM = Farming
FEST = Festival
FAMILY = Open to families
HEALTH = Activities relative with health
HERI = Heritage
KIDS = Work with Children
LANG = language course MAINT = Maintenance work
MANU/MAN = Manual work, labor
MEN = Male volunteers
SPORT = Activities relative to sports
WOMEN =Female volunteers
TEEN = Open to volunteers under age 18
YOUTH = Work with Teenagers
RENO = Renovation
TEACH=Teaching
SOCI/SOC = Social Work, Social Project
ONLY MENT = Work with the mentally handicapped individuals
MIXED AGE = vols aged over 30 especially welcome / priority given
PHYS = Work with physically handicapped individuals
STUDY/LEARN = Discussion/informal learning (fun! not like school!)
ONLY YOGA = Program involving yoga practice or study
MTV = Medium Term Volunteer program (2-6 months)
LTV = Long Term Volunteer program (6-12 months)
