Description: Vallersund gård is a Camphill community, a residential and work community for adults in need of special care. The farm is located about 2,5 hours from Trondheim, on the west coast of Norway, directly by the sea. The site is under historical preservation. There is a windmill providing electricity to the farm, a heating system using ocean water to warm the houses and an organic sewage treatment system. We have an organic farm and grow our own vegetables.

Type of Work: Landscaping and painting houses. The work may also include other jobs at the farm and in the garden. Please, be aware that the work is physically hard, you will develop a lot of muscles....and have fun!

Accommodation: The vols will live together in a house of their own in the farm.

Language: English

Requirements: Please, bring your own sleeping bag and raingear.

Approximate Location: Near Trondheim, the 3rd largest city in Norway.

Notes: Special community rules that have to be followed during the workcamp: Absolutely no use of alcohol or drugs.
