Mei-Shan Christian Church, TGRMThe Taiwan Grass-Roots Mission (TGRM) is a non-denominational missionary organization planting churches in areas not yet reached by the Gospel. Established in 1980 as the China Grass-Roots Mission (in Taiwan), the organization was renamed the Taiwan Grass-Roots Mission in February, 2004, with emphasis on spreading the Gospel in rural parts of Taiwan.In March 2009, Pastor Huang, Hsin-Chi and Mrs. Huang were sent by TGRM to establish a church in Meishan, a village in Houli, Taichung. They came at the fact that a number of families in this rural area struggle a lot with rather challenging backgrounds and status while other families in Houli donU t, fearing no shortage. The possible education, characters, and lives that children from such different families could attain do differ. A proper family of origin provides initial character development and socialization that better a childU s foundation for education, confidence, and resistance to pressure. Keeping the idea in mind, Pastor and Mrs. Huang started with foundations of the childrenU s education and characters, complementing the insufficiencies of their family functions, offering a chance for them to get rid of the difficult and underprivileged situations.Taichung Care AssociationTaichung Care Association was founded by members of Meishan Church in 2013, aiming to sustain the thriving afterschool ministry and to place more resources for more families.Now there are about 30 children f

Work: 1.Traditional agriculture work such as planting, weeding, harvesting, watering and etc.2.Hydroponic agriculture area maintenance such as planting and harvesting and etc.3.Building chicken coop/ ecological pool/ herb garden/ Black Soldier Fly device4.Eco enzyme composting5.After school, cultural and educational activity for children(Remind: Every team will have different types of voluntary works based on local/season status.)

Accomodation and food: 1.At HYDROVEGE center. Sleep in shared room with wooden bed and mattress, no need to bring your own blanket and pillow, unless you have personal needs.
