Nature conservation in the nature park Lauenburgische Seen - Mölln | ijgd 18233 | 2018-08-20 - 2018-09-05 | ENVI | Age: 16 - 26

Work: In this workshop in the heart of the nature park Lauenburgische Seen east of Hamburg, you will learn a lot about the connections and correlations in nature. You will learn about different ecosystems and work in re-naturalisation projects in forest and moor. You will likely build small dams in the moor, free the heathland from full-grown trees, (un)build fences and carry out other little conservation tasks. You will be guided and supported by engaged and experienced nature guides who are part of the project Lauenburgische Landschaften, as well as their partners from nature preservation. This workshop is just right for real nature lovers, as you will sleep in wooden huts, which are not entirely closed and will need a warm sleeping bag. The cooking and eating will also be outside and so will be many of the free time activities. You can find more information on the nature park Lauenburgische Seen and the nature park centre Uhlenkolk here: http://naturpark-lauenburgische-seen.de/front_content.php?idcat=35&changelang=5 (English) https://www.moelln-tourismus.de/naturparkzentrum (German)
