INHAMBANE CEU DISTRICT, INHAMBANE PROVINCE

Work/Activities: The volunteers will be carrying out various environmental tasks at Inhambane Ceu, take part in the community organized activities, Culture and Children activities.

Accommodation: Classroom or Tents, no Shower Self-Catering.
Terminal/Region: Participants must book their tickets to arrive at Maputo airport, the Camp is 474km away from Maputo, the capital of Mozambique. Can be reached by road.

Language: Portuguese and English are the Camp Languages.

Food: Food will be provided at the Project Camps. Participants with special dietary requirements should inform us well in advance. Participants are expected to help in preparation of the meals and the cleaning with the support of the Kitchen staff. Note: Food will be provided only at the project site.

Free time activities: The project is organised in a way that provide opportunity for participants to utilise their free time by enjoying what the region offers in terms of cultural and natural attractions.

 
Extra info: The work camp participation fee is strictly €250 and this covers simple accommodation, food and project expenses during the camp. Please note that this does not include travel expenses to and from the camp, so participants are asked to reserve a small amount of money for transport to the camp and vice-verse. We advise all volunteers to ask for advice from us when they are planning to book their ticket to Mozambique.
Weekends are meant to be for free tours that the group can organize by itself. It has now become a custom in all our work camps to have cultural nights when each volunteer can present her/his country and culture
