This camp requires an additional motivation letter to explain in more detail why you would like to attend.

Description: It’s the 3rd year of cooperation with Borobudur Conservation Office and local students club for the Borobudur conservation, name the Young Guardian Club (YGC) Borobudur. July is the month of YGC Training to recruit new members. Therefore, this workcamp will succeed the YGC Training as well. The project is in partnership with local schools. Type of Work: 1. Participate in learning session on Borobudur conservation works: in the laboratory and in the field by cleaning the temple 2. Designing and implementing School visit to local high schools: in the topic of conservation for young people. Consult to UNESCO KIT: World Heritage in Young Hands https://goo.gl/X9KmGo 3. Designing workshop/training for young guardian club of Borobudur batch 10 in the topic of conservation for young people. Again, consult to UNESCO KIT https://goo.gl/X9KmGo 4. Facilitate the program planning of YGC Borobudur batch 10

Study Theme: All about Borobudur temple and its conservation. Session about World Heritage with local officer of UNESCO and Borobudur Conservation Office.

Accommodation: A nice and comfortable homestay. Volunteers will share together sleeping room separately between females and males. With bed, possibly single bed for each volunteer.

Meal is provided. Volunteers will make common rules, daily cleaning team and washing team and any additional needs together for their collective living group.

Language: English with other volunteers. Bahasa Indonesia with locals

Requirements: Interested in world heritage education program, especially Borobudur.

Approximate Location: Borobudur village, Magelang region, Central Java, Indonesia. Nice village view. Free entrance to Borobudur temple during activity.

Notes: Not touristic project! If your motivation is to become tourist for free in Borobudur Temple, please do not apply as volunteer. Please be ready with knowledge about world heritage from your country.
